J Jay R New member Aug 14, 2009 #1 what would be a good cheap mountain bike. i am willing to spend up to $450. I have been riding trails where i live with a next bike from wal-mart and i am feeling that i would like an upgrade. i am 5'7" and i weight roughly 180 lbs.
