I used to be a boyscount, and miss the great outdoors. Now, me and a few friends are looking to get away from everyday life and "rough" it in the wilderness for a night or two. We live in NY (niagara falls), and are willing to travel in-state. I've found a few "tent camp sites" (mainly in the adirondacks) but they provide electric, tents, and other amenities which adds up the cost. We are looking for just a basic location where we can pitch a tent, set-up a few lanterns, and relax. If anyone knows of any sites, please let me know. If it is near a lake it would be even better. Thanks!
