I go hiking a lot, and i do a good bit of bird watching, but i don't know anything about cameras.
What I want (this might be a little farfetched but i have no clue) I want a camera that has good image quality. I have never liked digital cameras because i bought one a few years ago, and I payed a good bit for it. Needless to say i hated the image quality It was all grainy. i don't want that, but i would imagine the technology has improved from 5-6 years ago.
What i want
A wide angle lense
Image stabalization
and something that can kind of get wet. I mean it wont get soaked but i want somthing that would be able to be in moist weather, and not get fogged up. I don't want to keep the camera in a complete secure place all of the time. You know for that spur of the moment shot
Also a good zoom level like 16-20 or something in that range
I can spend about 400-500 dollars, but if you think i'd be worth spending a bit more i can.
What do you suggest?
