Good books for a 22yr old female college grad?

I'll admit, I used to be one of those girls who read Harry Potter and Twilight fanatically (ok, maybe I still reread them and am as giddy as a teenage girl..), but I'd like to move past those kinds of books and read something a little more sophisticated. I do like fantasy, but am certainly not limited to that. I enjoy a story that captures you and makes you want to finish the entire book in one sitting. I also like compelling characters. Any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

The Fountainhead and/or Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand.

Best books ever written.

You might check out Barbara Hambly. I have really enjoyed several of her books.

I'll say it again, The Time Traveller's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger. It is amazing, my favourite book of all time. There is a movie coming out this summer so read it before then
