What are the best and worse Blu-Ray transfers you have seen?

For me I have only recently got a Blu-Ray player and have currently only seen 3 Blu-Ray movies. Repo Men, Alice in Wonderland (Tim Burton) and Kick-Ass.

Alice in Wonderland looks amazing and Repo Men is a pretty good quality. But Kick-Ass is average. When bright it looks really good but some times it looks horrible when it is dark.

What Blu-Rays would you recommend picture-wise and what would you tell people to avoid?

Avatar is one to get, looks sublime. Kick-Ass looked fine and dandy on my screen, no problem with dark scenes and certainly not horrible.

Goonies looks pretty good.
Monsters Inc is stunning.
Batman: Dark Knight
Not a movie, but Take That: The Circus Live is stunning to look at.
So far I've not come accross any bad transfers that I've purchased, just some bad movies like The Invention Of Lying.
