Golf swing help?? DRIVER?

so i played in a tournament today.. i didn't do great, I shot a 96 :/ i can shoot much better than that.

But i was having trouble with my driver, I kept dropkicking it, hitting the ground before I hit the ball. How can I prevent this?

Please only answer if you know what you're talking about, don't answer if you're clueless about golf or are not good at it.

Every golfer has a distinct swing, however most problems arise from the lack of certain basics, no matter what the swing looks like. In my experience, hitting the ground with your driver before it touches the ball is the result of trying to swing mainly with your arms without rotating your body sufficiently. Not being a professional instructor, I can only equate your problem to my wife who consistently will do this when she gets tired at the end of a round, and starts to neglect her body rotation.
 
one thing you might be doing is hanging back and flipping with your hands which increases the chance dramatically to dropkick your driver. so from now on try and get on your front side on your downswing. it will definitley help!
