My sons friend was "petting" his goldfish...don't ask why....I have no idea. Now today my son is upset that his goldfish has a white blister-like bump on his head ( I am assuming that is where he was "petted"). My son has taken great care of his fish, so if anyone has advice that might help us out that would be great. Thanks!
I am assuming the "petting" caused the issue. I have read that touching them takes of their coating leaving them susceptible to bacteria. Just not sure where to go from here. Is it worth getting medicine for him? Or does this kind of stuff clear up, or just end up killing it? He is gonna be so sad....
