Going with Sprint

I'm getting a 2nd phone here through Sprint here in the next couple of wks in addition to the phone/serivce I already have.

I've been reading up and looking at the Samsung A920. For the most part, I haven't had too great of an experience with Samsung phones, especially the ones through Cingular. The biggest PITA to me is that you can't edit your words with t9, like you can with Nokia or SE phones. I send a bunch of texts per month, usually 6000+ so it's important. The LG Fusic seems like another pretty good choice.

As far as smartphones go, the Treo is out b/c no wifi. The Audiovox PPC seems interesting.

I'm open to any other suggestions, experience with any of the mentioned phones/smartphones.

Well after reading a few reviews on here, the Treo seems to work better than PPC. The Treo 700 seems ok, but the wx(?) version coming out seems to be better.

Still not really sure though.
 
Went to the Sprint store to play around a little.
The Fusic seemed a little flimsy in my hand. Didn't like how the buttons work, had a hard time clicking ok, etc on it. Didn't care too much for the menu either.

The A920 on the other hand was solid. Not a bad phone, volume and other controls seem to work great. I'm still considering this phone, but what concerns me is that it's been out for awhile now. Wonder if there's any Sprint phone coming out soon that might be worth the wait.
