going to summer camp during my period :/ ??

i am going to sky ranch in a couple weeks and i didn't realize this till now.. but i am going during my scheduled period. is there anything i can do to prepare for this and refrain from a million embarrassing moments??
 
bring lots of tampons, pads, shorts, and underwears !
avoid cold things...
OH and i heard exercising helps relieve pain.
