Going to a public high school?

I've been at private school my whole life. I am now transferring to a public high school and I will be a sophmore. I was class president at my old school and played sports and was the head of my class for grades.

Does everything change in public school? And making friends?

i went from private school to middle school. There are A LOT more people. that was the first thing that i realized lol. You should have a pretty easy time in making friends. Just be friendly, play sports, and just be yourself. Be prepared to be made fun of about your grades a little though. But DON'T try to dumb yourself down because it's your future that matters more than what others think.
 
Well I see no difference in both private and public. Every school is different and has different people, attitudes, and styles. But try to connect with people who enjoy you and your personality, and that will get you threw high school with fun and excitement. Hope you enjoy High School....
