Going off birth control and having unprotected sex—how prepared do I need to be?

My husband and I have decided to have my IUD removed, although we are not “actively trying” to conceive. He has low motility, which means it might take some time for us to do this naturally, and I’m 29 and he’s 41, so well, why not just see what happens.

So, how prepared do I need to be?
1.I am currently taking a multiple vitamin, folic acid and calcium. Do I need to give this up for prenatal vitamins? What is in prenatal vitamins besides folic acid?
2.I currently use a steroid based cream to control severe eczema rashes. It’s the only thing that works, but has a disclaimer against use while pregnant. Can I just stop using it when I find out I’m pregnant, or do I have to give it up now?
3.While I’m not an alcoholic, I do enjoy a drink now and then and sometimes actually even get drunk with friends. Do I need to stop this as well?

I don’t want to harm a future child, but I don’t want to be overly paranoid, especially since I don’t really care if I get pregnant immediately. Thanks!
