well im going to Europe this summer.. and its my first time to go overseas... so what do I do when I get there? thanks alot guys

Well you can add an international data feature to your plan.

Or you can purchase a prepaid SIM from france. I'm not sure if you can get data on it.
 
I would like to know more about this as well. I am heading to Austria this summer. A friend told me I would need to turn on the Worldwide service (which I have done.) I was also told I would have to get a SIM card from a company in Austria. Is this true? Why wouldn't my normal Tmo SIM work? Any clarification would be greatly appreciated.
 
You have 2 options. In foreign countried there is one flat rate for incoming and outgoing calls as well as data. Basicaly you have to decide if you're gonna be calling the us or local and if they are going to be calling you. From us to you is a local call if you keep your tmo sim, however you pay the roaming charge (checltmo.com for rates).. If you're calling home a lot, its prob best to keep tmo sim. You just need to look into the roaming rate and your needs and see which solution fits. The intl option is free to have, and charges you a flat rate as stated above.
