Going back to school after mental ilness?

Special Edition

I OD-ed on Monday night and the next morning I was taken away in an ambulance. But the school bus arrived outside my house at the same time as the ambulance, so everyone on the bus and all my neighbors saw me.

Then when I was in hospital, by coincidence, I was in the same ward as my Maths teachers daughter, and my teacher saw me and I had to come up with some poor, unbelievable excuse about having an allergic reaction to some medicine I took.

I don't know what to do; I'm going to be off school for a fortnight but I'm scared to go back to school because everyone is going to know what happened. I asked my mum if I could move schools and she said I couldn't because I'm in Year 11 and doing my GCSEs. I'm not sure if i want to contact my best-friends anymore because they'de just ask questions I don't know how to answer. Maybe they wouldn't want to talk to me at all...
Please, I don't know what to do?!?

If they're good friends, they'll understand.
Things like this happen, you shouldn't be scared to go back to school because of it. And in a few weeks time no one will notice anyway.
