I registered 6 domains with GoDaddy and am now attempting to transfer them to a different name server. This new NS is one I have transferred to before, just from a different registrar and obviously using different domains.
I have followed all of GoDaddy's directions MANY times...going through my domain manager, etc...and entered the 2 required name servers to transfer to, only to be met each time with either "nameservers must be unique (both are of course unique), "invalid TLD", or "invalid characters." Remember that this is the exact same forwarding information I have used before without any problem. I copied and pasted the info from my new host so I know every jot and tiddle is correct. It worked fine before.
When I contact customer service they tell me the same thing 5 times, which is a list of the directions, but never do they address my specific problem. I feel as if my domains are being held captive. Has anyone had similar difficulty transferring domains from GoDaddy...seen the same type of error messages, etc..., and if so how did you resolve the problem?
