permission for consuming unclean? meat? So why do Christians say God said it is permissible to consume these things like Pork and Shellfish.
Peter himself had said (3 times) God had not meant that he could now eat any unclean animal, he had merely granted permission for mingling with the gentiles. I wonder if this is due to misinterpretation of Peter's words.
