I Dont know whether you have heard the game and if you do know the game its coming onto our cinemas in febuaray 2008

As a movie the adaptation would be a good vehicle for someone like Vin Diesel or more likely these days The Rock.
While the story is very cinematic it would need to be gory as heck to live up to spirit of the (excellent) game.
It'll probably end up as a PG though with a wisecracking sidekick chucked in.
 
I'd prefer the Rock as Kratos, although I fear that too many video game adaptations would lead to him being typecast. (I already hear that Uwe Boll is interested in getting him in one of his movies - the second he agrees he may as well go back to wrestling)
 
Vin Deisel or the Rock... they would certainly LOOK good, and Kratos is hardly the most articulate character pixelated to our screens... but are they bad ass enough???
