meant to say that I cannot do both, only 1 or the other. Either biking + no bar or bar + no biking
I have 2 options for activities tomorrow. My car I usually use to transport large items and bikes is not available to me this week, and there are 2 trails I have been wanting to ride, and I figured out they are both accessible by public transportation. I worked out a schedule with the train that I would be able to take the train from where I live and back and forth to both of these trails. The one conflict is that my friends have invited me to go to the bar at night, but in order to beat the $8 cover charge, we must arrive before 8pm. I would not be able to do this if I went biking, and similarly would not be able to go biking if I went to the bar. Tuesday nights at this bar are pretty eventful, they have a club theme outside and have a "beat the clock" deal with drinks increasing in price by a quarter every hour. At the same time, I really enjoy biking and getting outdoors. I cannot go biking Wednesday because I have to pack.

My friend Dan's cousin and her friend came from Europe to visit his family, and since Dan is at college, my friend Jon volunteered himself and I to take them out for a night. Since Dan's house is not far from mine, I would be the one driving these 2 girls, so I told myself I'd go to the bar if they were because I had to drive them. But it turns out one is still 20, so they can't go. I'm thinking I should still go to the bar because it is one of the last nights I'll be home for a while (going back to school on Thursday) and the bike trails will always be there. What would you do in my situation? (I suppose this post could be alternatelly titled "be social or anti-social")
