Hi,
are there some more statistics available telling how big gnutella is, how many firewalled hosts, freeloaders and other details? I know only ...hmm... Limewire's host count and Gnutellameter's keywords:

http://www.limewire.com/index.jsp/size
http://www.gnutellameter.com/gnutella-top_30_bad.html
http://www.firstmonday.dk/issues/issue5_10/adar/index.html

Thx for any advice/URL.
Greets, Moak

PS: The first picture on Limewire's host count is allway broken?

Hey there,

I just entered the forum ... and posted a question on TTL values in Gnutella Clients... http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=5610 ... FYI ;-)

I wanted to ask if you got some mor links on Gnutella Network Perfomance and analysis? I searched the web for my thesis on that subject and found some but not too many to be honest ... so I would appretiate some help on it =)

Thx
Felix

I have been writing a paper about characterization of Gnutella Network and Analysis of Users Demeanors.
It has as goals prove the presence of free loaders and the overhead of broadcasts ...
Unfortunately I don't have a version in English yet, but I am about to translate it (I'm Brazilian )
Those that have interest in these experiments, please mail me at [email protected]

Two more links I found:

Gnutellavision - http://www.sims.berkeley.edu/~rachna/courses/infoviz/gtv/ (mirror)
Gnucleus Mapping - http://www.gnucleus.com/research/mapping.html

There is a nother student working on Gnutella visualisation and modelling of the network:
http://www.ececs.uc.edu/~mjovanov/Research/gnutella.html

So, how big is Gnutella network really? Does anybody happen to know? Looks like the result of the measurements depend critically on the method of the measurement...
