thanks mate for the app... the thing is the maintainer is a bit oblivious to the 3rd edition because he doesn't own a device and doesn't have the time to look at the 3rd edition SDK... but hopefully he can help in something..

So I've been searching around and learning about this great app called gnubox for sharing my pc internet connection to my phone.

Seems like currently there is no gnubox version for s60v3 phones nevermind specific to the N73. Anybody know if anyone will actually work on it? Are there any other options?

I got a problem!! I followed all the step and everything goes fine. When i m using the browser (Opera 8.65),i mean when i try to connect, this message always appear:

M-Router can't connect my already detected phone. I was doing all steps right and i dunno why can't i connect. Testing in GnuBox (with command Debug->Test comm channel) works fine.
Can anyone help me about this?
Thanks in advance

Hi, I was looking around for a BT Internet sharing solution for my N73 and I found this. Thumbs for the great work, you all are real great people who made the wonder.
I am not a techie person, but I want to try it out although the steps seems very technical to me.
Can someone send me the unsigned GNUbox for N73? I got problem download it from rapidshare. my email is [email protected]. Thanks.

multivac,

thank you for your help and support... i tried the app but for some reason it didn't wanna connect to the PC at all.. when go to debug and bring IF it says memory is full close some apps and try again.. tho there isn't anything running on the phone..

till now there is no other option i guess... and the developer of this application is not willing to port it at this time... at least that's what he told me...

does anyone have an alternate link for Signsis.exe?

edit:

new problem, i got the gnubox.sis signed but when i try to install on my e62, it says that the certificate may be expired or my date settings may be incorrect. can anyone please help? TIA

Hi everyone,

I have read the whole topic and signed gnubox without a problem,
however i got a serious problem:
when i installed bluetooth dongle on my pc i killed my broadband connection(both wired and wireless). I then disabled the microsoft bluetooth stack and installed Windcomm drivers. However when i set them up it still kills the broadband connection on my PC. The only way to recover internet is system restore.
Any suggestions on how to get bluetooth working without killing the internet?

Thanks
