i have set up my gmail to come to my n73 . but evevry time it has to check for email it says ;this site has sent an untrusted certificate continue anyway?

how can i slove this , it really stressin me cause other than that the phone is super

I use the Gmail mobile link and it works fine on both my N73 and N95, but I only do "manual" checks and do not have it set for any type of automated updating.

how do you have it set up? did you install the gmail app that they have out now or are you using your messaging program to download the messages?

Wirelessly posted (nokia N73: Mozilla/5.0 (SymbianOS/9.1; U; [en]; NokiaN73-1/3.0638.0.0.1 Series60/3.0) AppleWebKit/413 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/413)

I'm using the builtin email client , under messaging .

You can install the geotrust cert and that should clear it up. I had to do it on my 6620.

http://geotrust.com/resources/root_certificates/index.asp

I think i installed the first three and that cleared it up.

yes it worked :-) thanks ... btw does your n73 have the dashes next to the 1-5 keys an the #. cause mines seems to be either from japan or china not sure that lang it is .

I know it's a dumb question but, uhm, how do you install the certs? I downloaded:

Equifax_Secure_Certificate_Authority.cer
GeoTrust_Global_CA.cer
GeoTrust_Universal_CA.cer

But how do I get that to my phone? I double-click on it and it asks to install but it doesn't prompt me whether on the computer or mobile...

Thanks!

Arg some how i can't download the equifax cert . My phones browser says it can't create . Secure conn.and when i use d comp in work it shows up as a .cer file but it opens as a note . Can some one post it for me or email it to me at tonymohd at gmail.com please

Use pop.Googlemail.com in the incoming mail server, instead of pop.Gmail.com... It wont ask for the certificate that way.

same here use: pop.googlemail.com or smtp.googlemail.com
ssl/tls anable on both (incoming & outgoing), incoming port 995 and outgoing is 465.

from what i know only gmail is allow you to retrieve free accounts as pop3.
