Gmail, always needing to select access point?

I updated my firmware to the generic one and so far so good. Weird thing is Gmail is acting weird. It didn't used to ask me for an access point before and the kicker is, I thought it was defaulted to one of the packet data ones.

Any help would be appreciated.

okay, there is no fix right now. have to access gmail through phone instead of the gmail java app, which'll ask for access point everytime.
