Obama is under the thumb of Environmentalists. He cannot please both sides here Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and even Pa. need new sources of Oil and the Environmentalsist Obama represents will curtail Drilling. Those new sources of Energy at this point are a DREAM not a Reality, right now we need Crude Oil.

Who will those Auto Plant states vote for come Nov. The Oil Supply man McCain or the NO DRILLER Obama?

to answer a KD question. it takes the democratic congress
to stop kowtowing to the tree huggers. the president, no matter who that might be, does not and can not make that decision.
you need to learn how government works. that's why obumma's
talk is just that, talk. we should have developed more crude sources many years ago. but little fishes and weeds are higher on the list.personally i believe my lifestyle, albeit meager, is a hell of a lot more important than an endangered weed!

Republican policies are what shut down the plants in the first place, but there's a lot of voters in those states who don't care.

so why if drilling was so necassary then why didn't Bush drill when he is still in the power
how do u know that Mccain will drill ?

The auto workers union needs to get a grip! They have been getting paid Doctor's wages for doing unskilled, assembly line labor. That is why we can't turn out good cars as cheap as the Japanese!

McCain's energy policy? This is the the way it will go. SInce McCain is Bush, nothing will change.

He's way too unpopular to consider for the second slot on the McCain ticket, but is a cabinet post for Dick Cheney as energy czar out of the question if the Republicans prevail in November?

After the roll out last week of McCain's drill-drill-drill energy policy, it's pretty likely. Backed by the full might of the Republican message machine, McCain's energy proposals were lifted wholesale out of the Dick Cheney energy strategy that has guided US policy since 2001.

dude, join the oil revolution now ! http://americansolutions.com/drillnow for all you clueless dummies, congress and the tree huggers shut down domestic drilling 20 years ago.time to start an oil revolution ! $1.95 gas anyone ?
