GM Customer Service wants to resolve issue, but I'm not sure what to say.?

I had an issue with a dealer. They didn't connect my gas tank properly and the hoses were not connected. Gas was leaking out and it was a huge safety issue. i didn't realize it till I went to the gas station and I started puming and gasoline went everywhere underneath the car.

I have four kids and I was worried about there safety.

The GM customer service called me and wants to know what I want to resolve this issue. What do I say? Are they talking about money?? If so, how much?? What else could they be referring too?
I actually got my uncle on the phone who is a mechanic and he walked me through how to fix it at the gas station. So i didn't have to pay anything when I took it back to the shop. They just had to check over everything I did. It's more the liability of the issue and that I have 4 kids.
