Almost no chances.

New stock for the "new GM" will be issued in a public offering. The current stock will remain with the part of the company that keeps the brands GM wants to phase out (Saturn, Hummer, Saab). This company will probably be liquidated or sold for pennies on the dollar, and the most likely scenario is that the stock holders will be wiped out.

no it will not. It will be cancelled and will not be reissued. the only new shareholders will be UAW, US, Canada and bondholders.

the new GM will not be a public company. They will likely have an IPO in about 12-18 months to issue shares to public again.
