them? Congress ignored the voters on the wall st bailout, and now congress is complaining the $ billions $ aren't doing any good!

Easy -- they'll close factories, lay people off, and return to profitability.

Next . . .

It won't. The Republicans were right in shooting this down. You might as well throw money into a fire.

Bad management created bloated union contracts. Should the union give concessions? Absolutely.

It all boils down to supply and demand. There isn't any demand for cars from the Big3 and no bailout will get people to buy cars unless you give the money to the people for that sole purpose.

They aren't the sharpest knives in the drawer. Remember come time to elect new "representatives"

Resurrect Iaccoca! Merge the two! Get rid of that Getelfinger retard. Money is like water through a sieve to those guys.

Oh if we only had a competent president in the white house for the past eight years, but alas we ended up with the most incompetent one in recent history.

Thank you little georgie bush, thank you very much.

Happy holidays, and best wishes for a prosperous 2009.

i think the congress is trying to do a BAND-AID policy again that will haunt us back in the near future,
we won't be in this position right now if they didn't use it before.

By prolonging the end of the Big 3
?
Death is slow and painful look at the Plymouth gone
.
So to one day they will be gone all because the corporate people don't see quality as prim on the list of thing to include in the production line
.
Other wise why has not America made cars that are compatible to European high performance cars that cost $70,000 to $1,200,000 base price
.
Oh true they make the Corvette the Doge Viper but they both are on the bottom of the list of cars to be desired the Viper is on the chopping block of production it is the only one car that America that has been looked upon as being worth it
.
But that is it
