I took out my factory GM car stereo to my 2000 Grand AM to install a new CD head unit I bought, well...new one didn't work, I know how to install these, I've done it numerous times. Well, now old one doesn't work. installed everything the way I should have. The factory unit's lights are on, but no time, LOC, etc shows up. Checked fuses, they are good. Had another factory head unit lying around from another grand am, same thing with that one. Tried following steps to retrieve a certain code to send to a specialist so I could get my code, that won't work either. HELP PLEASE!!!
