gm 350 TBI 5.7l stalling problems?

Just installed a rebuilt 350 and when i put on the brake kind of hard it dies and lacks get up and go. It's not the vacuum booster tested it and it is working. I replaced the idle control valve, pcv valve, and air filter. Can't seem to find out the problem. Any help would be great. THANKS
