gluten free

I have had celiac disease for 4 years, and have been gluten free during that time. My reflux just started a few months ago, despite being gluten free.
I've heard others say, however, that the gluten free diet helped them.
 
thank-you. I am considering it but need to gain weight and don't know if this is the best time to try (or worth it).
 
I've had reflux for twenty years, dx with celiac in '05 and the only thing that's helped my reflux is the acid diet for bone health, a.k.a. the "osteoporosis diet". I don't know why exactly, lower overall acidity and better calcium absorption, I'm guessing.
