Global warming is a hoax? (4)?

This is my 4th question.

All I want is to find answers.

I do believe that global warming is happening. Yahoo Answerer Crabby Patty said, "...if we are right, something needs to be done and soon. But if we are wrong, the only consequence is a cleaner environment and more efficient/economic energy usage.

But I want to look at both sides of the story, like every person should do.

I asked 3 previous questions and I got 2 people that said that The Club of Rome is a club that made up the global warming hoax.

About 5 said Al Gore made it up, which is just absolutely wrong.

I had one person say chicken little.

Yahoo Answerer J S said, "Funny that there are so many claims of a hoax, yet no one can describe who is behind the supposed hoax!"

Most of you guys are ignorant and I am ashamed to have to share a country with you people.

I just want to know one thing and one thing only.

WHO DO YOU THINK MADE IT UP!

p.s. I tried to look up the club of rome, but found long long pages and pages and information, that I am not capable of reading, so it you give me a link, make sure it's a short one.

It's legitimate speculation - like a lot of scientific theories that are unproven, it's nothing unusual for scientists to speculate about what could be without turning these speculations into a belief.

What is a hoax is that science has discovered that humans are having a significant effect on the climate. The IPCC first made this claim that they had evidence of humans affecting the climate with the Micheal Mann hockey stick graph.

Various politicians and now businesses have found AGW a convenient way to push their agenda. Margaret Thatcher used it to justify building nuclear power plants and breaking the coal miners unions in the 1980's, Al Gore is using it to promote his business.
