Not enough people have seen Idiocracy, which should be required viewing for high-schools at this point.
It is true, the gov't aims to tax cows, under the guise of protecting our air. The EPA has been given full power over deciding what acceptable levels of certain gasses are. This is actually an attack on corporate farms. the tax only applies to farmers owning more than 60 or so cows. This will force farms to be smaller, ultimately effecting meat prices and production,as well as overall efficiency. Inefficiency is the leading cause of excess greenhouse gasses. But none of that reality matters when tax dollars can be made.
The stupid thing is, the same amount of cows will exist, no matter who owns them. So the law will do nothing to solve the fake greenhouse gas crisis.
