Global warming...a myth or a realty?

There are valid arguments to both sides of the issue.
An honest opinion, not backed by pea brained articles...
Most of u might call this book a work of fiction, but just give it a try...
State of Fear by Michael Chricton.
He claims that it is based on facts with historically verifiable data from all across the world, and he says that it is a myth which is allowed to fester so that it can fund various environmental organisations.
Agreed, that the book was a very bad example to give, but do you really trust the facts given to u by the very so called nation advisories, whose funding would be cut off if global warming was proved never to be an issue. Where i live, i can assure u, temperatures have been falling every year and not rising.
Climate change might be a better term....Global warming by itself...well..??
 
It is more a political movement based on never having a complete education on the basic science and a poorly written calculation program that altered numbers creating the misconception things were warmer than normal.

I am under 50 y/o.In 1973 or 74 time newsweek etc.Were disscusing the coming Ice age.I was concerned as a teen.I later found out that a proper thermometer hadn't existed for very long.I also found out that very good vinyards once existed in the Brittish Isles.I think around 14th century.There were very few SUVs at that time.There is a thing called a cycle that we don't have a complete knowledge of as far as our little planet is concerned.For the past few years we have had colder temps in much of north america.The polar ice is now growing more than it has in any yearly cycle in recent history.(I don't know what next year will bring)I do know that one major volcano can do more to alter climate change than all of the nuke tests done in the 1950s.So buy a jacket
 
its obviously true!! haven't you noticed whats going on around you? its defiantly not a myth that pollution is affection the ozone layer!! whoever says its not is just weird and probably hates the world

(yeah i also live in canada but around the world its horrible...right now in my area we have like 2 ft of snow and its -20) but polar icecaps are melting
 
I think it's a myth...
I live in Canada, and I can assure you there has been no warming here!!
 
state of fear is a science fiction novel sweetheart. and not one of crichton's best, the andromeda strain was a work of genius, jurassic park was a romp and made a super film, but he rather lost the plot after that.
 
US National Academy of Sciences is not typically considered pea-brained....
