I come from a very traditional Chinese family, and my relatives always have lunch every weekend at this Dim Sum/Chinese restaurant; my aunt always ask the waiter if he can get a fork for her boyfriend (he's Caucasian) I don't know about this. If you were Caucasian dating an Asian (or vice versa), would you find this insulting? My girlfriend is half-Vietnamese and half-German (but she looks totally white than Asian) - If the same thing happens to her, do you think she would be insulted the same way?
