Give me recommendations on what book to read!?

Hello

I love reading i want to read a book on the Black Death but can't find anythin baout it
I have read pillars of the earth recently it was good but i did not like the sequel.
I want to read sort of a scary horror or something light hearted like the diary of adrian mole.
 
Albert Camus novel The Plague . Very good book. plague infestation comes from rats in the 1940s storyline has a lot of nice twists
 
If you like scary or horror... Go for a Steven king book. His collection kept me on the edge and I couldn't but the book down =)
