(GIRLS) What is up with my ex girlfriend and should i still give her a gift and poem i

made? Posted earlier but with an awful title i guess, not much feedback, anyways here it is.
Weve had some hard times and broke up in October. She was pretty rude to me and still wanted me to let her know things as i did with her, like meeting people or getting hit on. Anyway in November for my birthday she made me a card and bought me things and the card said how great i was and rare to find. The next day she cut off again and today she told me no to get her a christmas present because she wasnt getting me anything. Well ive been working hard on a xmas gift for her and saw her roommate out while getting things, so she probably told her what i was doing. Anyway thats my story i love this girl but shes hurt me deeply, heres the poem. Sorry for the set up

Maybe its your eyes, maybe your smile
Maybe its your laughter, ive missed for awhile
Whatever it may be i know you still have it
Just reach out your hand and relieve my sadness
You are my love, my thoughts and time
Im waiting for the world to return what is mine.

Last line too possessive?
Heres what the card said for my bday 3 weeks ago...It is rare to find something so extraordinarily unique and beautiful that stands out and makes you laugh, i find all of this in you! Just so you know we arent young we are 25
 
Last line sucks, change mine to shine or something....


Also i hated guys who gave me poems, was so cheesy and gay, it would just turn meo ff more, but maybe she likes that sort of thing......

i believe its best to let go. someone so up and down about their feelings is not a good thing. why be with someone like that when you can have someone who loves you 24/7, 365.

you should give her the gift only because you worked on it and you dont want it to go to waste, but at the same time, let this girl know she cannot treat you like a yoyo. its either go hard or go home. and if she gets into her moody second personality, just split, life is too short to put up with all that emotional drama.

and see what happens from there
you were probs looking for a long answer

Really, its better to cut off contact with this girl. Trust me, from experience, if you keep talking to her and thinking of her romantically, you won't ever move on with your life. I know you love her, but really, she seems like she's playing you in order to keep you liking her, and it's unfair to you. Don't send her poems, and DON'T get her a gift for the holidays, when she obviously doesn't give enough of a sh*t to bother to buy you one. In fact, she is SPECIFICALLY not getting you one, which shows that if you give her a gift while she isn't getting you one, she has the power over you.
