Girls, this is a personal hygiene/grooming question?

i have never shaved down there, and im kind of scared too. but when my bf and i do things, i can tell it kind of bothers him. is this something that all girls do and something i should do? or do only a few girls do it? i just dont see how it could be comfortable or how to avoid razor burn.

well some [alot] ppl do and when and if u shave put shaving cream on this will provent burns and cuts and also make it easier to cut =]
