Forget whatever you've seen in movies, and drop that tub of ben and jerry's. The hollywood notions of romance are false and cater to insecure people who just want to be loved. You might say romance only works for pretty men, because they get away with anything. Us average men have to try harder, or ironically, try less. An average-looking romantic man is called a stalker. Girls will have sex with the men who overlook them, and when you finally take notice of a girl, she will fall in love with you. They don't want you to go through all the notions of sunsets and running to the airport to stop her. Because she paid a shit-load for that flight, and chances are she's packed a box of condoms.
