Girls, does this mean anything at all?

so me and my friend were in the parking lot and i notice these girls standing outside this room, then this other girl comes out and i notice that she waves at me and walks away. i didn't wave back cuz i couldn't see who it was cuz i have bad vision. so then my friend tells me it was this girl, who after i stopped ignoring her, started to say hi to me everyday when she first saw me at school.

so does this mean anything at all?
