My girlfriend was arrested while driving my car under the influence (weed) and now Nassau County wants to seize my car. 13 days ago I received a summons and I don't know what to do. My girlfriend has a lawyer representing her, who I've never spoken to, and he keeps telling her not to worry about it (she also received the summons). I want to know if there's anything I can do about MY own summons without having to hire my own lawyer. I have enough money troubles as it is.
