GigaOM: Mailbox Launches iPad App, Android in the Works
GigaOM reports that Mailbox has launched a new iPad app and is currently working on an Android app. Mailbox for iPad is the first new product from the company since it was acquired by Dropbox. The new iPad app is similar to the existing iPhone app, with a few small changes to accommodate the larger screen. CEO Gentry Underwood said, “We’re trying to create an experience that’s as consistent as possible, that doesn’t misuse all that extra space. And sometimes it’s like a luxury-sized mobile device and sometimes it’s a desktop replacement.” Read more
