I'd actually say otherwise.. For a business sure.. But the more attention usenet receives the more regulations are sure to follow.. It only took one (NY AG) to blast US ISPs into removing access to the majority of groups.

I know what you mean but some day newsgroups will go down the drain anyway so I just think we should enjoy it while it lasts.
I think GN will stay for several years anyway as I don't really think they have got the same pressure from everywhere as the ISPs. The ISPs have P2P and all the other shit to "care" about too.
