The past 3-4 years we have had horrible offensive teams which is why we havnt won the division. This years offense is almost as bad as last years. We should have 7-8 more wins on our record. We have lost so many 1 run games. There is no power hitter in our lineup, who pitchers have to pitch around. Our best homerun hitter this year is Uribe who was signed to just be a utility infielder. He leads with 4 or 5 homers. Other MLB teams have more than 2+ players with at least 10 homers.1-8 are all ok hitters, nothing special. Derosa has been a bust, knew he was going to get injured again. Huff has been ok, but in no way has been the impact hitter we need. Its going to be a repeat of last year. We will play well and a month after the all-star break our pitching staff will be tired once again, cause they continue to get no run support and have to constantly go deep in games. Our offense is ridiculous. I will be happy the day our GM Brian Sabean is fired. He is awful. How does the guy still have a job he signs and trades for injured players.
