I think this article was written by someone who doesn't spend much time on public transportation. I'm happy (most) people aren't carrying around booraboxes anymore. There are few things more annoying than some douchebag blasting crappy music out of a boorabox on the subway.

Well I'm old enough that it was going on when I was a little kid. I definitely remeraber people carrying around booraboxes like that.

I don't really know how much it went on in the 70s. It think booraboxes were more of an 80s thing.
