In other words, I'm on a contract, and my phone broke. Can I get a prepaid phone and put my number on it? Does it have to be "active" for six months? And if so, is there a lock code I can use to activate it, even if it does requires six months of used service? If it helps, the phone I want to activate is a Samsung Intensity.
