Getting variables from a swf file?

I need to get every single variable from a swf on disk,preferably without html,php or action script. It's possible without decompiling the entire swf or using adobe flash, I have seen it done in other software, but have no idea how it's done.After step 1 ,variables will be needed to be edited. Give me an idea,or better,provide some code in c++,delphi,vb or java.
