I dyed my hair red about two months ago (medium auburn) and I hated it, so I waited about 3 weeks and then dyed it a Medium Brown. Well my hair still has a horrible red tint to it that is VERY visible in the sun, and I really want to get rid of it. Someone told me to get a Ash toned hair color, that it was green based and would neutralize the red that is all through my hair. I am NOT a bleach blond, obviously, so Im not scared of my hair turning green 
I just want to know if anyone has had a similar experience and how they fixed it without going to a pro.. I use professional hair coloring products, and my hair is very healthy
