This summer I have participated in a couple of pro try out camps in my area. I am 28 years old and I have been working on building my arm strength up ever since I was 18. Basically, just by doing long toss. I know that over the years I have increased in my velocity and I love doing long toss. Well, each try out I go to I'm getting to throw maybe 3 pitches before they ask for the next pitcher. My fastest has been 69 mph. At this point should I give up on my dream of being a Major leaguer? I almost started a fight with the last scout b/c I think I'm throwing harder than 69. I think I'm throwing over 90 but there is something wrong with the radar gun but these moronic scouts are telling me I'm not throwing hard. I just feel like kicking their as$. I'm really embarrased to be going out there and trying out if i'm only throwing 69 but all these years of hard work gets me to 69 f--ing miles per hour?
