getting my mail or others profies or new id while chatting?

while I just in my friends list. At the bottom on my task bar its says have mail. I click on it and i come up with a error It does the sam thing when I try to read others profile or getting a new yahoo id.s there some thing I can do o fix it Thanks I am 65 just learning all this new stuff Thanks
