My husband is in the Navy and is stationed in Japan. We didn't get married until AFTER he was already stationed there and because of that and the fact that we are not traveling there together (concurrent) I have heard that we can't get the FEA, that we have to get something else (not quite sure of the name of it. If you can tell me if this is true or not....??
I know that we have to have command sponsorship. We have already gone through the overseas screening process and have been approved and all the paper work for the command sponsorship is fully done and turned in. His chief said we should be have a approval for that within the next 10 days. But you also have to have a FEA in order to get through customs. But since we aren't traveling together I heard that I can't get the FEA that have to get a non-concurrent something ( I really can't remember the name of it, sorry). I was wondering if anyone knew anything about that.
