Getting car dent fixed?

Is it better to get it fixed at a dealership or autoshop?
Do you have to be 18 to get it fixed?
Does insurance have to know about it?

If the paint hasn't been scratched badly or cracked, call around to find a paintless dent company. They are cheaper, quicker, and can come to you.

Uh oh, looks like somebody banged up the family car.

I don't think dealers really do body work unless it's something like a fender that they can simply replace. For bondo, sanding and painting type body work, it is usually done at a shop that specializes in body work. I would recommend calling around to a few body shops to find the best price.

believe this or not i forgot what the website was but anyways you can buy a block of dry ice and just rub it on the dent softly and the dent will come out without any problems make sure you have a rag close by to wipe down afterward believe me it works

its generally cheaper to get it fixed at a shop because they dont have the kind of backing a dealership has. still not right? a dealership usually will make it right. with an autoshop they might give you the boot.

no you dont have to be 18 and no you dont have to tell insurance
