My question is, should I go for it? Here's the situation: My wife works for Toyota. We are looking into buying a 2010 Corolla base model, zero miles. They are offering $200 above what the Dealer paid for , which according to them is $16,800 (which I do not believe) and also they are giving me 0% finance with no down payment. Pretty much it's a sign and drive deal since all the title fees and taxes will be included in the loan. To me, it sounds like a good deal, however, it's already 2011 and the car is a 2010 and they are trying to get it out of the lot. What other discounts can I ask them for or how can I negotiate with them. I honestly feel like they are being honest with me. They told me they aren't making any $$ off it since she works for toyota. I don't know if they can go any lower on the so called "invoice" price but I just don't know how to attack them or negotiate better. I honestly want to get it for as low as possible. I wanted to lease but I'd hate to pay for a car that isn't mine. your input is greatly appreciated! I'm looking to make a decision sometime within the next two weeks.
by the way guys, they are not offering the 0% finance on the 2011, except for the camry but the camry is too much $$ for me. And also, the 0% is already approved, i just have to choose the car. I could've taken the car today if I wanted it. it is approved because she works there.
